TAGGING INFORMATION
ALL TAGS MUST BE PRINTED ON CARDSTOCK USING NORMAL, HIGH QUALITY SETTINGS TO ENSURE YOUR BARCODE WILL SCAN
Attach tags to the right side of the clothing item, if you are looking at the front of the item. If you were to put the item on, the tag would be on your left shoulder area.
Price items in excellent condition to sell for 1/3 the retail price and 1/2 the retail price if it still has tags and has never been used.
ALL prices should be in $.50 increments.
Strongly consider marking items to sell during our half price sell, this is a great way to move your inventory.
You have the option to pick up your unsold items or donate them to charity. See below for information on where your donated items will go.
PRICE TO SELL
Remember, you cannot make money if it never leaves the racks, however, at the same time, there is no need to give your items away; you can make more money on your children's items at a consignment sale than a garage sale. If there is something wrong with an item, but it does not mess up the functionality of the item, or is not esthetically unpleasing, document what is wrong with the item on the tag. We'd like to be as honest with our customers as possible.
Please login to your account or click here to CREATE AND PRINT YOUR TAGS. (Please note that the deadline for entering inventory into the system is Thursday, April 19th at 10:00pm)
DONATING UNSOLD ITEMS
If you choose to donate any unsold items after the sale they will be given to either of the two charities below.
Baby Steps is a program run by St. Michaels Cathedral. This program has several regularly scheduled parenting classes for under-aged and/or underprivileged mothers and expectant mothers. To help motivate the women to come to these classes and to receive proper pre-natal care, Baby Steps offers them "points" for each class attended in which they can in turn use to "purchase" items from the "baby store" in the basement of the Cathedral. Any items you donate to Baby Steps gets put into this "baby store". Also, by attending the classes and getting involved with Baby Steps, the mothers gain access to all kinds of support and resources other than the classes. However, Baby Steps can only use items meant for children 2yrs and younger. If you wish, older children's items can be donated by us to the St. Michaels Thrift Store. Proceeds from the Thrift Store are used by St. Michaels to provide services for the underprivileged of Boise.
If you would like a donation receipt for your donated items, please let us know.
